Palo Alto AI Startup Naïve Secures $28.5 Million Series A to Power Autonomous Companies
Naïve, an AI infrastructure startup based in Palo Alto, announced a $28.5 million Series A financing round led by Nexus Venture Partners. The round also included participation from Y Combinator, Zetta Venture Partners, Liquid 2 Ventures and several angel investors such as Gokul Rajaram, Tim Zheng, JD Sherman, Robert Chatwani and Zachary Sims.
Co‑founders Sean Dorje and Dennis Zax, former UC Berkeley dropouts, said the funding will be used to build an “operating stack for autonomous companies,” a platform that automates the legal, banking and cloud‑infrastructure steps required to launch and run a business without extensive human intervention. The company aims to give entrepreneurs worldwide turnkey infrastructure to create and run AI‑driven enterprises.
Nexus Venture Partners partner Abhishek Sharma highlighted the shift toward autonomous software, noting that “the next decade is about autonomous companies.” Naïve’s solution is positioned as a response to the limitations of current cloud architectures that were designed for human‑managed code.
