Paloma San Basilio tours with theatrical production ‘Dulcinea’

Paloma San Basilio is touring with ‘Dulcinea’, a theatrical and musical production directed by Juan Carlos Rubio. The performance reinvents the iconic literary character, offering a perspective on female independence and personal sovereignty through a mix of drama, music, and humor.

In Oviedo, the show was presented at the Teatro Filarmónica as part of the San Mateo Theatre Cycle. The production features a metatheatrical approach, including a voice-over by José Sacristán and musical collaboration with Julio Awad. Following its appearance in Oviedo, the production is scheduled to perform at Can Ventosa in Ibiza.

San Basilio has recently received several honors related to the role, including recognition from the El Toboso City Council and the Fuente de Castalia theatre award.
