Palworld 1.0 update adds new wildlife sanctuaries, 72 Pals and gameplay tweaks
The 1.0 version of the survival game Palworld introduces a reworked Wildlife Sanctuary system. Each sanctuary now features patrol drones that emit detection beams and can deal heavy damage, making traversal more challenging. New loot tables replace pendant drops with crafting recipes, and higher‑level sanctuaries require better preparation.
A guide for farming Large Pal Souls shows that the fastest low‑setup method is hunting the box‑shaped 142B Pal in the orange World Tree biome, while seasoned players can still rely on breeding and butchering established drop Pals. The update also includes visual redesigns of several creatures to distance them from Pokémon‑like appearances.
Players can ease the repetitive “hold F” crafting interaction by enabling two settings: “Single button for hold interactions” and “Change build mode from Hold to Toggle.”
Palworld 1.0 adds more than 70 new Pals—72 in total—spanning fire, water, grass, dragon and electric types, with detailed location guides across the Palpagos Islands and the World Tree. A separate beginner‑focused list highlights six early‑game Pals such as Tombat, Wispaw and Rushoar for mining, combat and base work.
