Palworld 1.0 update introduces Watchtowers and Awakening upgrades

The 1.0 update for the open‑world game Palworld adds a network of 22 Watchtowers spread across its biomes. Each tower reveals surrounding terrain and serves as a fast‑travel point, helping players locate hidden areas and reduce exploration time.

A new "Awakening" system also arrives, allowing players to permanently boost a Pal’s stats. By gathering Radiant Gems and World Tree Holy Water, crafting an Awakening Crystal at an Ancient Workbench, and applying it to a Pal, the creature gains a golden aura, increased damage, defense, and health. The system works for all Pal types, including mutated and alpha variants.
