Palworld developer signals progress on major v1.1 update

Pocketpair has signaled progress toward the first major update for Palworld since its official release. An official X account post on August 13 showed a meeting monitor titled “Palworld v1.1 Kickoff,” suggesting the development team has begun planning for version 1.1.

In the survival game genre, Core Keeper developer Pugstorm has also released a roadmap for its large-scale content expansion, “The Road to the Great Mouth.” This content will be delivered across three separate updates. The first phase, Ver. 1.3 “Underground Riders,” is scheduled for release on September 21, 2026, and will introduce new items such as saddles and a hookshot, along with a new mossy sub-biome.

Additionally, Pocketpair’s publishing lead, Bucky, addressed recent discussions regarding game collaborations. While noting that the company has declined certain collaboration requests to maintain gameplay integrity, Bucky expressed that they prioritize fun and have previously engaged in successful collaborations.
