Palworld leaves Early Access with major July 2026 update

Pocketpair announced that Palworld will exit early access on 10 July 2026, delivering the largest content update in the game's history. The full‑version launch adds numerous new Pals, a fresh region, deeper story elements and other substantial changes, while existing save files from early access will still function.

The studio also confirmed that the long‑requested evolution feature, similar to those in Pokémon, will not be implemented. Community manager John "Bucky" Buckley explained that evolutions were never part of the game's design and will not be added in the future. Although developers recommend starting anew for the fullest experience, players are free to continue with their current progress.

The update aims to give Palworld a distinct identity apart from comparable creature‑collection games and is positioned as a significant milestone for the title ahead of its full release.
