Palworld Official Card Game launches July 30 after Tokyo pre‑release event
A pre‑release demo of the new Palworld Official Card Game was held at Tokyo Big Sight, where attendees could test the 60‑card decks and experience the game’s fast‑paced battles. Players control “Pals” that can attack immediately, use “Lucky Pal” cards to cancel damage, and manage building and gear cards that mirror the video‑game’s survival‑craft mechanics.
The product will be released worldwide on July 30. The launch includes two trial decks (Red‑Blue and Green‑Purple) priced at ¥1,980 each and booster packs of seven cards for ¥440. A second booster set is slated for October 30, with a global tournament circuit planned: qualifiers beginning in autumn 2026 and a world championship scheduled for May 2027.
The event highlighted the game’s design focus on rapid combat, strategic resource (Soul) management, and the ability for players to build and defend bases using card‑based structures, providing fans of the Palworld video game a new tabletop experience.
