Pam Burridge wins Australian Shortboard Title

Surfing pioneer and 1990 women's ASP world champion Pam Burridge has won the over-60 women's division at the Australian Shortboard Titles in Wollongong. Competing as a wildcard entry, Burridge won both heats of the championship, securing her new Australian Shortboard title.

Following her victory, Burridge has been named to the Irukandjis, Australia's national masters team. This selection will allow the Mollymook resident to represent Australia on the international stage once again. Burridge expressed that the opportunity to compete and wear the Australian jersey is a meaningful experience.
