Pamela Anderson to receive amfAR Award of Courage in Venice

Pamela Anderson is set to receive the amfAR Award of Courage during a gala in Venice in September 2026. The event, held alongside the Venice Film Festival, aims to support HIV research and global health.

Anderson’s recent career resurgence has been marked by critical acclaim for her role in the drama ‘The Last Showgirl’, which earned her Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations. She is also slated to appear in the upcoming film ‘Place To Be’ alongside Ellen Burstyn and Taika Waititi, the latter of whom will host the amfAR gala.

In addition to Anderson, the foundation will honor performance artist Marina Abramović with the Award of Inspiration. The charity banquet is scheduled for September 6, 2026, at the Molino Stucky hotel, featuring musical performances by Bebe Rexha and Mimi Webb.
