Pamela Jaskoviak releases new poetry collection ‘Rubedo’

Author Pamela Jaskoviak has released a new poetry collection titled ‘Rubedo’, published by Albert Bonniers förlag. The 93-page work utilizes alchemy-related terminology and color theory to explore themes of aging, persistence, and the struggle to reconcile different aspects of the self.

Critics have noted the collection’s intensity. Edith Söderström described the work as ‘a ragingly beautiful work’. Reviewer Gabriel Itkes-Sznap observed that the book depicts a power struggle between a stoic, aging persona and a more passionate, grieving self, drawing thematic parallels to Jungian psychology. The collection also touches upon the suffering in Gaza.
