Pamela Warner alleges widow is blocking access to granddaughter

Pamela Warner, mother of the late actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, has filed new court documents alleging that his widow, Tenisha Warner, has terminated her relationship with her granddaughter, MacKenzie Warner. The legal dispute follows the death of the ‘The Cosby Show’ actor in Costa Rica in July 2025.

The conflict involves a complex battle over the actor's multi-million dollar estate. Previous legal actions included a $1.2 million suit filed by Tenisha against Pamela, involving claims regarding the sale of a Los Angeles home and the management of family trusts. While an out-of-court settlement was reached in that specific matter, tensions remain high.

Pamela Warner has stated she holds no ‘ill-will’ toward Tenisha but expressed confusion regarding the source of the ongoing friction. She has previously claimed to have offered a $4 million settlement and sought to ensure financial support for Malcolm’s daughter through a Georgia trust and life insurance policies.
