Pamplona approves 3.2% increase in public taxes and fees

The Pamplona City Council has approved a 3.2% increase in public prices and taxes for the upcoming year, matching the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The measure was passed by the governing coalition of EH Bildu, Geroa Bai, and Contigo Zurekin, with support from the PSN.

Opposition parties UPN and PP criticized the decision, arguing that the PSN's support for the coalition is the result of political pacts rather than municipal interest. Government officials defended the increase as a necessary step to update revenues in line with inflation to maintain public services.
