Pamplona expands regulated parking zones in Rochapea and Arrosadía

The Pamplona City Council is implementing new regulated parking zones across several neighborhoods to manage urban mobility and promote vehicle rotation.

In the southern part of the Rochapea district, a new 24-hour orange zone will begin operating on September 1 as a pilot project. This zone covers approximately fifteen streets, including Río Arga, Ochagavía, and Paseo de los Enamorados. Under this new regulation, drivers must pay the standard orange zone rates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To prevent long-term parking, a single ticket will allow a maximum stay of 9.5 hours.

Additionally, the city has begun transitioning white parking zones to blue and orange regulated zones in the Arrosadía and Milagrosa neighborhoods. This change removes approximately 1,000 free parking spaces in areas near the University of Navarra, Navarra Arena, and El Sadar stadium. While the City Council states these measures respond to local demands gathered in neighborhood forums, some residents have expressed concern regarding the impact on the community and local services.
