Pan-Amazonian Book Fair attracts thousands in Belém

The 29th Pan-Amazonian Book and Multivoices Fair is currently underway at the Hangar Convention Center in Belém. The event, which runs until Sunday, has attracted thousands of visitors, including students, families, and residents from the metropolitan area and the interior of Pará.

With 199 stalls offering a wide variety of titles, including works by local authors, books are available starting at R$ 5. The fair serves as a significant driver for the state's creative economy, bringing together writers, publishers, artists, and small entrepreneurs. The cultural programming includes free musical performances, such as a presentation by Mestre Curica and the Lambada Social Clube.

To manage costs, experts suggest planning budgets in advance to account for books, transportation, and food. While book prices are competitive, visitors should consider that expenses for food and transport can add R$ 150 to R$ 300 to a single day's outing.
