Pan-American Beach Tennis Championship held in Cuiabá

The Pan-American Beach Tennis Championship is being held in Cuiabá, Brazil, at the CT Pantanal. The tournament features 284 athletes representing various nations, including Brazil, the United States, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Canada, and Chile.

In the professional categories, world ranking leaders Vitória Marchezini and Sophia Chow are among the top competitors. In the men's professional division, current Pan-American champions Daniel Mola and Giovanni Cariani are scheduled to compete.

In the youth divisions, local athlete João Godoy has advanced to the Under-18 final. Partnering with Giovanni Nomelini, Godoy secured his place in the championship match after defeating a Puerto Rican duo with a score of 6/2 and 6/3. The final is set to take place this Sunday.
