PAN Edomex achieves certification for victim assistance

The State Steering Committee of the PAN in the State of Mexico has become the first within the National Action Party to obtain certification under the EC0938 labor competency standard. This certification focuses on providing immediate assistance and care measures to victims.

Anuar Azar Figueroa, President of PAN Edomex, stated that the certification provides tools for professional and humane attention to those experiencing violence, emphasizing the importance of listening, containment, and avoiding re-victimization. In the first stage of this initiative, 34 members of the party structure, including state secretariat heads and municipal representatives, were evaluated and certified by the CONOCER-SEP National Competency System.

The certification process involved 12 hours of technical training and a theoretical-practical evaluation based on empathy and confidentiality. The goal is to establish an internal first-contact protocol to identify needs and guide individuals toward appropriate institutions, such as Women's Justice Centers or the State of Mexico Attorney General's Office.
