PAN leader alleges nepotism in Puebla municipalities

Mario Riestra, the state leader of the PAN, has alleged a pattern of nepotism within municipalities governed by the Morena party and its allies in Puebla, Mexico. Following a territorial review, Riestra identified several municipalities where relatives of mayors reportedly occupy substitute positions or other roles within local councils.

Specific municipalities cited include Tepeojuma de Rodríguez, Guadalupe, Xicotepec, Acatlán, Tianguismanalco, Amozoc, Acatzingo, Juan C. Bonilla, Naupan, Ahuatlán, Huatlatlauca, Magdalena Tlatlauquitepec, and San Diego La Mesa Tochimiltzingo. Riestra argued that these instances are not isolated errors, as previously claimed by Morena, but rather a recurring practice that undermines political integrity and public trust.
