PAN leader Jorge Romero Herrera urges Mexico to replicate World Cup unity

Jorge Romero Herrera, the national president of the National Action Party (PAN), said the World Cup demonstrated that Mexico can unite around a common cause.

He argued that the same unity should be applied to tackle major national challenges, including security, the economy, health, freedoms and rebuilding trust in institutions, emphasizing the need for less division and more shared purpose. He quoted, “Cuando México se une, México puede.”

Romero Herrera added that PAN’s Acción Nacional is ready to work with citizens, governments, parties and civil society to build a safer, more prosperous Mexico.
