PAN leaders in Chihuahua criticize Sheinbaum's report

Opposition leaders from the PAN party in Chihuahua are criticizing President Claudia Sheinbaum following her recent report. Federal deputies Federico Döring and Rocío González accused the President of failing to mention the crisis of disappeared persons or the UN Committee on Enforced Disappearances during her address.

During a press conference, PAN officials also highlighted the distribution of t-shirts bearing the slogan “Morena y muerte es lo mismo” (Morena and death are the same). Daniela Álvarez, the state president of PAN, defended the distribution of these garments, noting high demand and announcing a second batch for free distribution despite legal complaints filed by the Morena party.

Álvarez stated that the party is complying with electoral authority notifications, including the removal of certain social media videos, but maintained that PAN will continue its political communication strategies. The opposition members further criticized the federal report for lacking substantive data on violence and for omitting mentions of the state of Chihuahua.
