León police rescue woman held against her will

Police in León, Guanajuato, successfully rescued a woman who was being held against her will inside a white Ford Explorer. The operation was initiated following a citizen report and the victim's ability to share her real-time location.

Using C4 surveillance cameras, officers tracked the vehicle along Mariano Escobedo Boulevard. After a high-speed pursuit that ended in the San Judas community, police managed to block the vehicle's path. The driver attempted to evade capture, causing material damage during the chase.

Three men—identified as Fernando Alfonso, Dante David, and Carlos Fernando—were arrested at the scene. Two of the suspects are reportedly from Mexico City. The rescued woman was provided with assistance to file a formal complaint, and the vehicle was seized. The suspects have been placed at the disposal of the State Attorney General's Office for further investigation.
