Tamaulipas political updates: Mayor Gattás returns and new PAN members register

Political activity is intensifying in Tamaulipas, Mexico, involving several key figures and administrative updates. In Ciudad Victoria, Mayor Eduardo Gattás Báez announced his return to office following a temporary leave of absence. His separation from the municipal presidency was intended to allow him to complete his registration in the Morena party's internal process for federal district coordinators without conflicting with his institutional duties.

In the same region, businessman ‘Tico’ García and social manager Juan José Salazar have formalized their affiliation with the PAN party. Their registration, conducted via mobile application, aims toward participation in next year's elections in Ciudad Victoria. The move was supported by state and municipal PAN leadership.

Additionally, Tamaulipas Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya presented his four-year administration report through an interactive format at the Centro Cultural Tamaulipas. The session focused on transparency and direct dialogue between the executive branch and the public, featuring presentations from various secretaries and directors regarding their respective departments.
