PAN Silao requests expulsion of five members

The Silao delegation of the National Action Party (PAN) has unanimously requested the expulsion of five members following allegations of violating party regulations and principles. Among those targeted are former municipal president Jorge Galván Gutiérrez, current councilman Alejandro Peña Gallo, and Irma Arzola Meza.

Ismael Zúñiga, president of the PAN in Silao, stated that the request has been forwarded to the Intra-party Order and Discipline Commission of the State Directing Committee (CDE). The final verdict will be issued by the National Executive Committee (CEN) after a review of the evidence.

Zúñiga emphasized that the move is an institutional responsibility rather than a political vendetta or personal confrontation. He noted that the proceedings aim to uphold party principles and ensure that members do not engage in activities that undermine the organization's integrity.
