PAN takes criticisms of Sheinbaum administration to Europe

The National Action Party (PAN) has taken its criticisms of President Claudia Sheinbaum's administration to Europe. Led by national leader Jorge Romero Herrera, a PAN delegation traveled to Belgium to meet with European leaders regarding Mexico's political and security situation. During a visit to the European Parliament, the delegation accused Mexican authorities of having alleged links to organized crime and characterized the ‘Fourth Transformation’ project as a “fraud”. While the party used these claims to challenge the current federal government, no new evidence or documentation was presented to support the accusations.

Domestically, the PAN is also focusing on its strategy for the 2027 elections. The party's National Council has emphasized the need for organizational structure and the potential for political alliances. Recent discussions have included high-profile figures such as former President Vicente Fox, who met with PRI leadership to discuss institutional checks and balances and the possibility of building political coincidences between different organizations, though no formal alliance has been established.
