PAN Yucatán leader criticizes Liborio Vidal's move to Morena

Álvaro Cetina Puerto, president of the PAN in Yucatán, has criticized Liborio Vidal following Vidal's move toward the Morena party. Cetina Puerto stated that Vidal's political trajectory shows a pattern of aligning with whoever holds power, accusing him of having no convictions other than seeking to live off public funds.

Cetina Puerto suggested that Morena's decision to recruit such profiles highlights a lack of original leadership and proposals to compete in Mérida and Yucatán. He noted that Vidal, who previously developed his career in the PRI and supported PAN in the 2021 and 2024 campaigns, is attempting to run for office in the capital despite being from Valladolid.
