Panabad opens new logistics centre in Sant Quirze del Vallès

Panabad, a Spanish frozen bakery products company, has opened a new 2,500-square-meter logistics centre in Sant Quirze del Vallès, near Barcelona. The expansion is intended to support growing business volumes and improve distribution efficiency for the company, which serves over 2,000 clients.

To manage the facility, Panabad implemented Mecalux’s Easy WMS warehouse management system and high-density storage solutions, including push-back racking and Movirak mobile pallet racking. The system provides end-to-end inventory monitoring and optimizes pick paths for employees. This automation is particularly critical as the warehouse is maintained at -20 °C, as it reduces the time operators must spend exposed to extreme low temperatures while increasing order processing speed.
