Panachaiki coach Antonopoulos builds squad for third‑division title push
Panachaiki head coach Spyris Antonopoulos traveled to Patras on Friday for meetings with personnel intended to strengthen the club’s technical staff and identify transfer targets. He coordinated with technical director George Makrostergo, who arrived in Patras, and sports director Kostas Konstantinidis on recruitment matters.
Antonopoulos said the club is being assembled “for championship demands in the Gamma Ethniki,” noting that agreements have already been reached with several quality players and that the club is pursuing additional signings from Patras and proposals from Super League 2. He added that the administration is prepared to spend money to acquire top talent and asked supporters to be patient while the project develops. The coaching team will include assistant Filippos Schoinas, a fitness trainer, a goalkeeper coach, an analyst and a physical‑condition supervisor to monitor player workload and performance.
