Panagiotis Christofileas discusses Kalamata FC and Greek football

Panagiotis Christofileas, coach of Kalamata FC, discussed the team's recent performance and the Greek national football team. Regarding the national team, he noted that the match against Serbia was heavily influenced by an early goal, which forced Greece into a defensive stance against a high-quality opponent. Looking ahead to the match against Germany, he emphasized the need to maintain an attacking identity while remaining cautious of defensive gaps that a strong opponent might exploit.

On the club level, Christofileas addressed Kalamata's recent form, noting that despite attempts to implement their specific playing model, factors such as playing away from home and frequent travel hindered their ability to secure desired results. He expressed optimism for the future, stating that an attacking approach in the league can yield significant progress.
