Panagiotis Margaris to present ‘Mediterranean’ musical tribute in Athens

Renowned classical guitarist and composer Panagiotis Margaris will present a new artistic production titled ‘Mediterranean’ in Athens. The performance serves as a tribute to the music and passion of Mediterranean peoples.

Starting November 1, performances will take place every Sunday at the Theatre of the NO. The program features Portuguese fados and melodies from Southern Italy alongside iconic works by creators such as Lucio Dalla, Jacques Brel, Nino Rota, and Mikis Theodorakis, as well as solo guitar compositions from Margaris’s own discography.

Singer Katerina Vervéri will perform alongside Margaris, and certain shows are expected to feature guest appearances from various artists from his career. The opening performance on November 1 will include guest Foteini Velessiotou.
