Panaitolikos Unveils Monument to Titormos at Agrinio Stadium

A 4‑metre bronze statue of the legendary Titormos, created by local sculptor Dimitris Stoumbou, will be installed at the main entrance of Panaitolikos' stadium in Agrinio. The unveiling ceremony is scheduled for Monday, 3 August 2026 at 20:30, coinciding with the club’s centennial season.

The monument serves as the centerpiece of the stadium’s final renovation phase, which also includes the opening of a new museum beneath Gate 1. Club officials said the statue symbolizes the strength, courage and perseverance that the team aims to convey to supporters and the wider community.

The event marks the culmination of two decades of initiatives to promote the club’s history and identity, and will be attended by fans, local officials and former players.
