Panama and Costa Rica coordinate to facilitate land cargo transport
Panama and Costa Rica have agreed to coordinate efforts to facilitate and expedite land cargo transport between the two nations. During a bilateral meeting, Panama's Minister of Commerce and Industries, Julio Moltó, and Costa Rica's Minister of Foreign Trade, Indiana Trejos, committed to exchanging information with their respective industry sectors to identify improvements for goods movement.
Additionally, Panama is reviewing a proposal from Costa Rica regarding their shared commercial processes within the World Trade Organization (WTO). Minister Moltó emphasized that the bilateral relationship is built on mutual respect and reciprocity, aiming to find solutions that strengthen transport conditions and create economic opportunities for both countries.
