Panama Coffee Weeks to celebrate specialty coffee this October

The first edition of Panama Coffee Weeks will take place from October 15 to 31, serving as a precursor to the World of Coffee Panamá. The event aims to highlight Panamanian specialty coffee, which is globally recognized for its quality and origin.

During the event, more than 60 points of sale, including cafes and restaurants across the city and the interior of the country, will offer special coffee pairings. These offerings, priced between $8.00 and $14.00, will combine specialty coffee with sweet or savory creations. Participants can use a digital passport to collect stamps while visiting different locations.

Organizers, including Melissa Pinto, CEO of Panama Weeks, noted that the initiative seeks to connect consumers directly with producers, varieties, and processes. The event is also intended to bolster Panama's gastronomic tourism strategy, as emphasized by Gloria De León of the Panama Tourism Authority.
