Panama Ministry of Health expands preventive care initiative

The ‘Amor sobre Ruedas’ health initiative, organized by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) with support from the Office of the First Lady, recently concluded a session in Las Tablas, Los Santos province. The program provided essential preventive services and primary care, including hearing tests and free eyeglasses through the ‘Ver y Oír’ program.

The initiative is scheduled to move to the Macaracas district, where it will be held at the Luis H. Moreno Hospital on October 5 and 6. During this upcoming session, free services will include mammograms, electrocardiograms, contraceptive implant placement, vaccinations, and Pap smears to promote early detection and prevention.
