Panama Savings Fund and Mexico Pension Fund report financial results

The Panama Savings Fund (FAP) reported accumulated earnings of US$109.9 million for the first half of 2026. The fund achieved a gross cumulative return of 3.68%, outperforming its composite benchmark of 2.91%. This growth was primarily driven by its equity portfolio, which yielded a 15.05% return during the second quarter, supported by global market advances in technology and artificial intelligence.

In Mexico, the Pension Fund for Wellbeing (FPB) disbursed 740.36 million pesos during the first quarter of 2026. These funds were used for pension supplements and the return of resources to social security institutes. The largest disbursements were made to Infonavit, totaling approximately 395.98 million pesos, and IMSS, totaling approximately 298.67 million pesos. During this same period, the fund received only 119,873.29 pesos in contributions, provided by ISSSTE.
