Panama youth football teams begin international tournament preparations

Panamanian national youth football teams are entering intensive preparation phases for upcoming international competitions.

The Panama U-20 Women's National Team will conduct a training microcycle from September 20 to 22 at the COS Sports Plaza. Led by coach Gerard Aubi, the sessions aim to evaluate player performance and refine tactical concepts ahead of the UNCAF Tournament, scheduled to take place in Panama City from November 9 to 15.

Meanwhile, the Panama U-17 Men's National Team, coached by Felipe Baloy, is preparing for the upcoming U-17 World Cup in Qatar, which runs from November 19 to December 13. Baloy noted that the squad includes players with experience in the Liga Panameña de Fútbol (LPF). To prepare for the tournament, the team will travel to Salou, Spain, for friendly matches against the U-17 squads of Australia, Morocco, and Vietnam.
