Panasonic adopts M2X cloud service for equipment maintenance

Panasonic Corporation has implemented the M2X equipment maintenance cloud service to advance digital transformation (DX) within its manufacturing facilities. The adoption aims to digitize maintenance operations and improve overall productivity.

The M2X system allows for end-to-end digitalization of maintenance tasks, including daily inspection records, breakdown responses, and spare parts management, all accessible via smartphones and tablets. By centralizing this data in the cloud, the system enables Panasonic to analyze equipment uptime, identify causes of downtime, and implement continuous improvements to maintenance quality.
