Panasonic centralizes electronics expertise in Budapest
Panasonic Factory Solutions is centralizing its customer support, engineering, service, and development activities in Budapest, Hungary, to strengthen its presence in Central and Eastern Europe. The company has opened an expanded technical center to serve as a regional hub for electronics manufacturers.
The new facility features an 860 m² production area equipped with advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT), including the NPM G-series, ASF feeder technology for automated material replenishment, and APC-5M AI software for predictive maintenance. The center includes four fully equipped training and demonstration rooms to provide technical workshops and practical instruction.
This move replaces Panasonic’s previous training facility in Munich, which had reached capacity limits. While the Budapest site focuses on technical expertise and training, the Munich customer experience center will continue to serve as a B2B showroom for the company.
