Panathinaikos AKTOR chief Dimitris Giannakopoulos demands championship ahead of league finals

Dimitris Giannakopoulos, the president of Panathinaikos AKTOR, visited the team's training session at the Telekom Center in Athens on June 1. He criticised the club’s handling of its EuroLeague Final Four exit and the perceived laxity in subsequent games, urging players and staff to focus entirely on winning the Greek Basket League title.

Giannakopoulos warned that any further setbacks would be unacceptable and stated that the only acceptable outcome is securing the championship in the upcoming finals against longtime rivals Olympiacos, scheduled for June 3 and June 5 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium and the OAKA arena.
