Panathinaikos basketball veterans discuss club history on EOK WebRadio

Former Panathinaikos basketball players Takis Koronaeos and Argyris Papapetrou appeared on EOK WebRadio to discuss the history of the club and the impact of Pavlos Giannakopoulos.

Koronaeos reflected on the era when Giannakopoulos took over the basketball administration alongside Thanassis, noting that this leadership transformed Panathinaikos into a pan-European powerhouse. He highlighted that while the club had achieved success previously, the family's involvement provided the financial stability and energy necessary to compete with major European teams. Koronaeos described Giannakopoulos as a person whose life was deeply intertwined with the club, characterized by intense passion and dynamism rather than mere investment interests.
