Panathinaikos BC begins preseason training under Zeljko Obradovic

Panathinaikos BC has commenced preseason preparations under head coach Zeljko Obradovic. The team is integrating international players returning from MundoBasket, though Kendrick Nunn and Nigel Hayes-Davis remain sidelined due to injuries.

Player Jerian Grant commented on the training environment, noting Obradovic’s meticulous attention to detail and the high energy within the squad. Grant also expressed his enthusiasm for being back in Athens and mentioned his friendship with Juancho Hernangomez.

This period marks a symbolic return for Obradovic, who sat on the Panathinaikos bench for the first time in 5,207 days, dating back to June 2012. While his recent appearance was in a friendly match against Maroussi, his first official coaching appearance is scheduled for the Super Cup semifinal against PAOK on September 26.
