Panathinaikos beats Ajax 3-1 in Dutch pre‑season friendly

Greek club Panathinaikos secured a 3-1 victory over Dutch side Ajax in a friendly match on Dutch soil, concluding the team's pre‑season tour of the Netherlands. Goals came from Tetei in the 15th minute, Zaruari in the 30th and a decisive header by Tamborda in the 74th. Ajax reduced the deficit with a header from Conantou just before halftime. The match also saw Elmin Rastonther make his unofficial debut for Panathinaikos, entering as a substitute in the 61st minute. Coach Jecob Nistrup praised the team's performance and the positive display of the tactics employed during the preparation phase.

The win marks the end of Panathinaikos' Dutch stage of preparations, with the next test match scheduled against Groningen on 11 July at the Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium in Athens.
