Željko Obradović addresses Panathinaikos preparation and EuroLeague challenges

Panathinaikos head coach Željko Obradović has addressed the challenges facing the team ahead of the upcoming EuroLeague season. He noted that the squad is currently dealing with several injuries and a lack of preparation time due to national team commitments. Obradović stated that the team will only have a total of ten joint training sessions before the season begins.

Regarding his upcoming return to Belgrade to face his former club, Partizan, Obradović expressed a desire to focus on immediate tasks rather than the emotional weight of the matchup. He emphasized that the team's priority is collective effort, stating, “no one is more important than the team.”

Obradović also expressed gratitude to Dimitris Giannakopoulos for the opportunity to return to the club, describing the organization as a “family” and noting the high level of professionalism within the club's structure.
