Panathinaikos defeats Ajax 3-1 in preseason friendly in Netherlands

Greek club Panathinaikos won 3-1 against Dutch side Ajax in a preseason test match held in the Netherlands. Goals came from Andreas Teté (15'), Zaruiri (30') and a header by Tamporda after a cross from Binia (74'), while Ajax’s lone goal was scored by Konantou at the 43rd minute.

Coach Jecob Nistrup praised the team's high‑pressing, intensity and cohesion, noting the performance as a positive step in their July preparations. Panathinaikos will face Grasshopper on 11 July and Rapid Vienna on 15 July before their Conference League qualifier against Paks in the opening round of the competition.
