Panathinaikos defeats PAOK 87-81 in basketball friendly

Panathinaikos defeated PAOK 87-81 in a basketball friendly match held at the Pavlos Giannakopoulos arena. Despite a strong performance from PAOK, including 16 points from Osman and 15 from Foster, the team struggled with rebounding in critical moments.

Panathinaikos was led by Francisco with 17 points, followed by Lessort and Bongbo with 14 points each. PAOK coach Andrea Trinchieri noted that while his team showed improved physicality and played well, poor decision-making in the final three minutes and issues on the boards cost them the victory.

The two teams are scheduled to meet again on Saturday, September 26, for the Super Cup semi-final at the A. Papandreou indoor hall in Peristeri.
