Panathinaikos ends contract with coach Christos Serelis

Panathinaikos AKTOR announced the formal termination of its cooperation with Greek coach Christos Serelis, who had been with the club for 3½ years. The club thanked Serelis for his contributions as head coach and as an assistant to Ergkin Ataman, and wished him success in his future endeavors.

In his farewell statement, Serelis said, “All things have an end, and one must first take care of oneself. I leave Panathinaikos satisfied after helping the team reach the level it truly belongs to.” He thanked club president Dimitris Giannakopoulos, coach Ataman, the players, staff and the organization, and expressed confidence in the future under new head coach Zeljko Obradovic.
