Panathinaikos explores interest in Monza midfielder Andrea Colpani

Panathinaikos has reportedly made exploratory contact regarding Andrea Colpani, a 27-year-old attacking midfielder currently playing for the Italian club Monza. According to reports from the Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, the Greek club is investigating the player as a potential option to strengthen its midfield.

However, a transfer appears unlikely at this stage. Monza is reportedly unwilling to part with the player, and head coach Ivan Juric has expressed confidence in Colpani’s abilities for the upcoming season. Furthermore, Panathinaikos is currently prioritizing a different profile of player for its midfield axis, whereas Colpani functions primarily as a creative '8-10' or wide player.

Colpani, a former Atalanta academy product, is under contract with Monza until the summer of 2028. He recently contributed to Monza's promotion by appearing in 28 matches during the previous Serie B campaign.
