Panathinaikos advances to Conference League play-offs

Panathinaikos secured a place in the UEFA Conference League play-offs after a dramatic 2-1 extra-time victory against CSKA 1948 in Sofia. Following a 1-1 draw in the first leg, the Greek side overcame a late equalizer from Lasha Dvali in the 87th minute. Levi Garcia opened the scoring in the 60th minute during his debut, and Cyriel Dessers scored the decisive winning goal in the 94th minute of extra time.

In other European qualifying action, Norwegian side Brann advanced to the Conference League play-offs after a 4-2 extra-time win against Apollon Limassol. Despite trailing in regulation, Brann managed to overturn the deficit through goals from Noah Holm and Kristian Eriksen. Brann is set to face the loser of the PAOK vs. Anderlecht matchup.

Meanwhile, Olympiacos played to a 0-0 draw against Naestum in their first official match of the season, as they prepare for their Europa League campaign.
