Panathinaikos files EuroLeague complaint against coach Georgios Bartzokas

Panathinaikos AKTOR has filed an official complaint with the EuroLeague against Olympiacos coach Georgios Bartzokas following a match against Virtus Bologna. The club alleges that Bartzokas engaged in unacceptable behavior, including physically pushing opposing players after his team's defeat.

In its complaint, Panathinaikos is calling for an exemplary punishment, arguing that Bartzokas's repeated misconduct harms the reputation of the sport and the EuroLeague brand. The club cited previous incidents involving the coach, such as his behavior following a game in Dubai and during the Final Four in Abu Dhabi, to highlight a pattern of uncontrolled actions.

Dimitris Giannakopoulos, president of Panathinaikos, also addressed the incident on social media, sharing footage of the confrontation and criticizing the perceived lack of accountability for the coach compared to other figures in the league.
