Panathinaikos guard Kostas Sloukas sits out second AKTOR semifinal game as precaution
Kostas Sloukas, the veteran point guard of Panathinaikos, delivered a decisive performance in the first game of the AKTOR semi‑final series against PAOK, scoring 14 points and adding five assists to help the team secure an overtime win. The 309th appearance of his domestic career saw him reach over 2,300 points and 1,100 assists, reinforcing his role as a leader on the court.
Ahead of the second match, the club’s technical staff decided to keep Sloukas out of the lineup for health reasons. Although he had returned to action after a recent surgery and was present with the squad in Thessaloniki, the coaching staff opted to limit his load to avoid over‑exertion and protect his condition for the remainder of the playoffs.
