Panathinaikos loans Giorgos Kyriopoulos to Kifisia

Panathinaikos has announced the loan of 22-year-old attacking midfielder Giorgos Kyriopoulos to Kifisia until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Kyriopoulos previously played for Kifisia during the 2024/25 season, where he recorded 5 goals and 5 assists in 30 appearances, helping the team earn promotion to the Super League. His performance earned him the Super League 2 Best Young Player award for that season. Following his previous stint, he returned to Panathinaikos but was unable to play last season due to a serious injury.

The loan move means Panathinaikos will lose one player from its European squad list for the Conference League. Kyriopoulos was one of the three club-trained players registered for the competition. Consequently, the club will proceed in Europe with 22 players.
