Panathinaikos Nears Deal for Brentford Midfielder Matias Gensen

Greek club Panathinaikos is in the final stage of negotiations to acquire 30‑year‑old Danish midfielder Matias Gensen from English side Brentford. Brentford has indicated a positive stance and activated a contract‑extension clause that keeps Gensen bound for another season, requiring Panathinaikos to negotiate directly with the club.
